Ongariwanda is owned by the Van Rensburg family since 1928 and became active in hunting activities in 1975. You can be ensured of personal attention on Ongariwanda. You will personaly meet Johnnie and Jennie and some of their children during your safari and they will make sure Ongariwanda is your home-away-from-home. The 2 eldest children, Johann and Danita, are busy with their studies in South Africa and the 2 younger ones still in school. We do our utmost to offer you the best hunting experience ever.

Ongariwanda is conveniently situated 285km (177 miles) north-west of Windhoek, the capital city and 260km (161 miles) from Etosha National Park and 300km (186 miles) from the coastal tourist mecca. We are located in a malaria-free zone. We will pick you up at the airport when you arrive at Hosea Kutako National Airport close to Windhoek and transport you to your “Africa-home” for the period of your safari.

Ongariwanda Hunting Safaris is the perfect destination for first time hunters, seasoned hunters as well as family friendly. We are able to accommodate groups up to eight persons to assure you of personal attention and absolute high experience on your safari.

Hunting Packages

Namibia is home to a great variety of huntable game species, but the great attraction is the abundance of thirstland animals,
such as the greater kudu, gemsbuck and springbuck. The majestic greater kudu, which occurs here in an unparalleled density, has an average trophy quality, while gemsbuck and springbuck offer exceptional trophy quality. An added bonus is that these trophies can be hunted amidst impressive scenery.

For the first time hunters we help you by creating some packages to help you to make the best choices for your first Africa Hunting Experience. The packages is also putting together for the budget hunter as well as the hunter who would like to do a traditional full hunting.

ACCOMMODATION
OPTIONS

Our accommodation consists of 3 luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A spacious recreation area with a cozy fireplace where many memories are made.
Your bedroom suite is cleaned and serviced daily. Fresh linens and towels are provided. And yes, there is hot water for that welcome shower after a day of hunting. Laundry is cleaned and ironed daily.

Catering is of high standard and specific requests are welcome. We will accommodate any special dietary needs you may have.
